Use the application:
When you start your workout – tap on START and the timer begins running. After you finish your training tap on STOP.
GYMtime will calculate your workout time and add it automatically to Apples Health. It also calculates your burned calories and add them to your workout.

Use the widget:
First add the GYMtime widget to your notification center. Start your workout with the play- and stop it with the stop-button.
